Hi, I'm Kahaan, a Grade 10 student at Don Bosco International School, Mumbai. I enjoy building things, whether it's a robot, a lamp from IKEA, or something I've designed from scratch.

Robotics has been a big part of my life since I got into LEGO Mindstorms after lockdown, growing into five years across WRO, WSRO, and FTC: 5 FTC awards across 3 seasons, 2 national podiums. I co-founded Hichka with my sister, a sustainable apparel venture, and serve as Prefect of Science and Technology at school.

Outside of that, I enjoy reading, video games, and chess.

PROJECT_01
Pollution Mapping System
deployed

Air quality monitors are too spread out to catch localised pollution spikes. During the Maker's Asylum Goa residency, our team built a network of low-cost sensors that maps air quality in real time across an area and streams the data to a live dashboard.

My role: PCB design, electronics and wiring, CAD for the enclosures, and IoT for data transmission.

PROJECT_02
Hichka
live

Hichka supplies R-PET t-shirts (made from recycled plastic bottles) to grassroots cricket tournaments, with a circular model where shirts are collected back after use. Founded with my sister, who leads the sustainability and business side.

My role: building and managing the website and online presence.

PROJECT_03
GameBridge
in development

A hands-on robotics programme for kids in government schools who have had little to no exposure to robotics. Students build, wire, and program a working robot from scratch in person, then take home a gamified kit with components, quests, and challenges to keep exploring independently.

My role: programme design, kit hardware, and curriculum.
